Congratulations! You have arrived at one of the largest and most active EAA chapters in the southeastern USA. With over 180 members from a wide variety of backgrounds, EAA1114 offers something for every aviation interest in central North Carolina: homebuilding, vintage, warbirds, ultralights, fly-ins, fly-outs, workshops, aviation history and good old hangar flying.
We meet twice monthly at Cox Field (NC81), located just north of Apex, North Carolina, "The Peak of Good Living" :
Chapter builders also meet on the first Saturday morning of the month at a member's workshop. See the marquee above for the next date, location and time. Many chapter builders are also members of the Bear Creek Aero Club, where aircraft are constructed and flown by Club members.
Why wait and miss all the fun? Become a member of EAA1114 now at JOIN / RENEW .
Display your chapter pride by purchasing one of the items shown on our Web Store and available at chapter meetings.
We look forward to seeing you at our next event!
Denny Mercer put the heart and soul into EAA Chapter 1114, creating a large, extended family of aviators in central North Carolina that will last for many years to come.
